Kids With A Cause is very proud to announce our "partnership" with the Walter Lantz Foundation. Because our charity interacts with many children in hospitals, homeless shelters and special learning facilities, we wanted to create Kids With A Cause coloring & activity books, illustrated by our celebrity youth members, that were not only fun, but educational.
In January, a grant request was written and submitted to the Walter Lantz Foundation for this unique project. Once it was approved - - off to the drawing boards we went! Jessie Seely, one of our 2008 Ambassadors, accepted the position of Project Manager and put her artistic team together (AJ Holyfied, Isaac Lipscomb, Tessa Ludwick, Alexandra Rose Rieger, Savannah Stehlin....and Jessie, of course). The first in our series was designed for preschool & kindergarten children and has 12 very important "lessons", such as sharing, eating healthy foods, brushing teeth daily, using good manners and lots more.
For those interested in giving a little someone something special, the Kids With A Cause coloring book along with KWACers, will be sent to anyone who donates $25 or more (please add $5 for shipping in the U.S. and $10 for shipping outside the U.S.). Not only will you bring happiness to someone special, you will also be helping a child in need.
